At Organs For Life we predominantly aim to raise awareness to the UK public on the importance of becoming a registered organ donor.
We would also like to increase the number of donors by encouraging people to join the NHS Organ Donor Register.
We aim to do this by promoting the cause, speaking to the public and provide information to them whilst eliminating any fears or reservations the public may have.
We are a group of friends who share the same passion and believe that the importance of Organ Donation needs to be highly promoted.
Our passion and commitment is inspired by our childhood friend Anand Popat. Anand suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, an inherited life-threatening disease, causing continuous damage to the lungs.

Recently (2013), Anand was informed that his lungs had become so badly damaged and his only hope of survival would be a potential double lung transplant.
Sadly none of us knew much about Organ Donation, however after doing some research, the significance of Organ Donation soon became apparent.
We decided to take matters into our own hands and promote public awareness on Organ Donation and transplantation, ultimately encouraging people to join the NHS Organ Donor Register. This is how and when Organs For Life was born.
We started off our campaign by creating a short and simple questionnaire, allowing us to obtain information on why people do registered as organ donors and why people refuse to become donors. You can help us to help you, by completing our 2 step questionnaire, please click here. To see what our questionnaire results showed, click here.
